In Brief
I was born on January 20, 1969. in the city of Sofia. I have been actively involved in sports since I was eight years old. The sport I started to train was athletics in the representative sports club of the army in Sofia (CSKA). During the period 1985-1991. I was a multiple republican and student champion in athletics in the disciplines 400m hurdles, 100 and 200m smooth running 4x100, 4x400m relay, under the guidance of renowned athletics coaches, such as my first coach Dimcho Nikov, Prof. Bachvarov, Prof. Apostol Slav and other.
At the end of 1992. I realized initial practice as a specialist in sports massage and rehabilitation and fitness instructor.
Since the middle of 1994 I started a specialization in strength and conditioning training in the sports of tennis and football with the help and assistance of Ph.D. Prof. Kiril Aladzhov. During these years, working on improving my skills, I built my own system for preparing and implementing individual programs and strategies aimed at conditioning training.
I have conducted conditioning training of a number of our top athletes such as Orlin Stanoychev with the best ranking in the world men's tennis association 86th place, Lyubomira Bacheva with the best ranking in the world women's tennis association 63rd place, national tennis players Ivaylo Traikov , Todor Enev, Radoslav Lukaev, Grigor Dimitrov, the national football goalkeeper Dimitar Popov and many others. From 1999 to 2004 I was the conditioning coach of the Davis Cup national tennis team. In 2010 - 2012 I led the fitness training of the national futsal team.
From 2013 to 2019 I worked in three areas: as a fitness coach of the National Alpine Skiing Team, as an instructor and fitness coach at the Academic Sports Club, and as a lecturer in fitness and fitness fees at the Department of Sports at Sofia University "St. . Kliment Ohridski ”.
As of today, I am self employed, providing individual practice with professional athletes and private clients.
